Appetite for Destruction (is tupperware bulletproof? L0L)

The gathering was in a three-bedroom apartment just east of 51st Street and Troost, a beautiful space decorated with orb-shaped rice-paper lanterns, red-shag area rugs and a sexy leopard-print couch. The host, Angie Rosete, was attending the University of Missouri-Kansas City and needed a way to earn some extra cash. This party was one of the requirements she had to fulfill to become a Tupperware saleswoman.

I love my Tupperware.

On the other hand, I'm becoming attached to my new Sprindfield XD-40. (smile)

I like the XD-40.
I own no polymer guns how do they hold up over time?

Cool. If I ever have to go to a risky gangbanger costume party dressed as the lead singer in Cameo, I'll wear Tupperware for a codpiece.

My Glocks are holding up just fine after five years. (I have three, so I guess I'm a fan!) My G-26 is my daily weapon, constantly exposed to heat and moisture from both waistband and pocket carry, and I've had no problem with performance or corrosion. Heck, I tend to shoot better with my G-26 pocket pistol than its full-sized service G-17 cousin!

I just got my ported XD-40 yesterday as my first .40S&W weapon, and took it to the range today. So far, it shoots just fine (although the porting blast takes a little getting used to) and I really enjoyed working with it. The XD polymer frame seems to do just fine, but I'm not impressed with the XD slide coating. (I'm spoiled by the Glock's tenifer coating.) I may end up getting the XD refinished with a better coating and night sights.

Bottom line: From my experience, modern polymer frames hold up just fine. :-)

The polimer on a Glock will last forever, but the factory sheen degrades somewhat if you regularly clean them in the dishwasher.

Does the CZ 75 have ambidexrous safeties? Is it double action? Thanks. I'm debating either a Browning HiPower or the CZ for a loaner to the girlfriend.

The CZ is awesome, Its ergonomics are fantastic, I shoots like a dream.
Its got a smooth Double action and of course the singele action is even better! I has night sights..it rocks!

Its only drawback is that its a full size battle pistol.
They make a compact, tho I havent shot it.

Yer gal should be able to conceal the thing in a purse
