British Muslims demonstrate outside the Danish embassy over the publication of cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad, in London February 3, 2006. The cartoons, which first appeared in a Danish newspaper, have sparked outrage across the Islamic world, although Britain's normally provocative newspapers have so far refused to publish them. Hey Murtha, you can't pull back far enough for the these fanatics that want to kill you and your family.

As I mentioned earlier today, Europe deserves its fate -- In the 1930s/40s they did their best to completely eradicate a peaceful, productive religious minority - Jews - and now they've welcomed millions of fanatics who aim to destroy Western civilization - Islamics - with open arms. A confused lot, to put it mildly.

Compelling argument for private ownership of Squad Automatic Weapons. I see a bit of street cleaning is necessary

Looks like France's decision not to get involved in the Iraq war didn't protect them as much as they thought it would.

One cannot but ponder the question: what if the Arabs had been Christians? To me it seems certain that the fatalistic teachings of Mohammed and the utter degradation of women is the outstanding cause for the arrested development of the Arab. He is exactly what he was around the year 700, while we have kept on developing. Here, I think, is a text for some eloquent sermon on the virtues of Christianity. -
General George S. Patton, diary, June 9, 1943.

Laugh alert:
Watched earlier today Wolf Blitzer on Situation Room-CNN report on the Euro cartoons. Wolfie said CNN was pixelizing the 'toon so as not to offend muslims by showing a likeness to Mohammed
===
I sent Wolfie a link to a website (
Depictions of Mohammed Throughout History) that has over 700 years of artistic depictions of Mohammed.

Looks like France's decision not to get involved in the Iraq war didn't protect them as much as they thought it would. It'll be a miracle if the Euros ever figure out that successful appeasement of Islamics is an impossibility.

I don't get how the original cartoon insults TROPTM. It's just a statement of fact, considering these signs.
