British Muslims burn a Danish flag during a demonstration outside the Danish embassy over the publication of cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad, in London February 3, 2006. The cartoons, which first appeared in a Danish newspaper, have sparked outrage across the Islamic world, although Britain's normally provocative newspapers have so far refused to publish them. This is great. Maybe the Euros will actually grow a pair. Let's hope so, the alternative isn't too pleasant.

I've been a moderate voice with regards to dealing with Muslims. While I continue to believe it is wrong to round up everyone believed to be Islamic without any evidence of personal wrongdoing, I'm reaching a point where I have no problem rounding up and interrogating anyone who shows up at these protests holding threatening signs or shouting blatant threats. They should be rounded up, their homes and offices searched, and they should be put on watch lists. In addition, they should be registered like sex offenders as they are just as much a potential threat to their community.
I've tried to be moderate as well, but I have to agree with the tactic that you're suggesting here. We've got to protect free society from these raving lunatics. It seems that Islam is showing it's true face.

You cross out one proper name and replace it with another when both work perfectly well. That's not a "clean up".Are you really so uninformed that you believe that the "proper names" Declaration of Independence and Constitution of the United States are interchangble?
As for me looking "so silly", I've yet to see anyone even begin to argue successfully against that post, but have seen plenty of folks enjoy reading it very much.
What are you arguing for/against .. I haven't seen any cognizant arguments coming from your direction ... unless you're referring to the brilliance of posting concrete sources that can be checked - like
For what it's worth, a small number of news organizations carried a story out of... India, maybe?, a few weeks ago
or sound reasoning like

and tell me please, while you're at it, how quoting your own profile page is character assassination?
Would you like some cheese with your whine?

I think Europe is in for a rough ride. I agree. I think the nazis are amassing for another blitzkrieg, it's just that this time they are islamonazis.

Imagine the Arab street's reaction when we turn parts of Iran into a glass parking lot.

LOL!
I had no idea that I was having a dialog with a victim of mental disability. Thank you for the tip.
No, I did not waste my time visiting his "about" page.

Our Poklice should go in with battons and arrest them for incitement to murder. Is that happening yet?
If not, why not?
Works both ways here IMHO (however they want to prosecute it, if need be) as they are inciting hatred and violence against non-muslims as well a violent backlash on muslims themselves. I'm wondering how that Brit law's going to work.

I suspect that the majority of the protestors were not carrying such inflammatory signs nor acting in an aggressive manner- the news photog or the editor selected this bunch to represent the whole.

You know what positive reinforcement achieves: more of the same behavior, only worse. Give in to Muslims about freedom of the press/freedom of speech, and they'll make even more preposterous demands. Or else.

Everyone, these pics are NOT Photoshop creations. They are actual news photos. You can use
this link to the Yahoo News Photos page where these photos (and more) appear, and see for yourself.
As a healthy skeptic myself, I understand skepticism. However, it's easy enough to check the legitimacy of such photos. So in my opinion, a running chat about whether or not they are real detracts from the importance of this story and photo essay.

Wolfstar, I never even suggested that they were 'shopped.
I think they were all made by one person, with cardboard that has paper taped to it, drawn with a broad tip marker.
Someone handed out to a few people at the protest, then the leader whooped them up and the photographer snapped pix of the fifteen or so out of the hundreds who were there, then cropped the pictures to make it look like that 15 represented the majority.
Real photos of a staged event at a real street protest.

It seems the British don't know the right people to prosecute:
Nick Griffin, leader of far-right British National Party (BNP) went on trial on Tuesday accused of inciting racial hatred. It seems he told followers that Muslims had turned Britain into a 'multi-racial hellhole', a court heard. He is accused of using threatening, abusive or insulting words towards people of 'Asian ethnicity' in speeches to supporters which were caught on film by an undercover journalist. Photo taken December 14, 2004.
