No, that's precisely the point. Muslims can avoid any honest examination or appraisal of their "prophet" because the Koran tells them they must. Well, isn't that just so convenient for Islam.

It was not the point I was trying to make, and stick too. I think that publishing those pictures WAS offensive, I think the muslims have a right to be angry, and even boycott. I think it is appropriate to call the media out when it does things like this. Like I said, what would we have said if something similar were done to an image of Christ? That it was offensive and shouldn't have been published, like the cartoon of the crippled soldier. I think a boycott is appropriate.

Now having said that, the actual response by the muslims EXPOSES them for the nutbags that they are, and as someone else said, it proves the cartoon right.
