It would be nice if fast food restaurants allowed a salad and a 100% juice or milk with their "meals" instead of fries and a cola.

Wendy's lets you substitute a salad for fries. McDonalds throws in milk or juice with Happy Meals.

Both McDonald's and Wendy's have very good iced tea. Drink it unsweetened with lemon instead of soda. Burger King iced tea is rancid

They also let you substitute a baked potato, and for the drink get low-fat milk instead of a soda.

Wendy's has become my "fast-food" choice. I usually order from the dollar menu...a baked potato, chili, and a salad. $3 and I usually end up bringing the salad home, it's so much food.
