Dead children. Dead tourists. Dead teachers. Dead doctors and nurses. Death, destruction and mayhem around the world at the hands of Muslims .. no Muslim outrage ... but publish a cartoon depicting Mohammed with a bomb in his turban and all hell breaks loose.

Yep! Eff 'em if they can't take a joke!

In case no one has noticed with all the outrage everywhere, there is only one place where European institutions are being ransacked, where Europeans are running for their lives, where is is happening under authority sanction. Where? Mostly Gaza and a couple of other "Palestinian" strong holds.

As some of us tried to forewarn, and are still attempting to forewarn, create a "Palestinian" State as terror central and the World has seen nothing yet.

The Moor Next Door
Evenings in that part of the country must have been a kind of sad relief. But today, with the sun bearing down, making the whole landscape shimmer with heat, it was inhuman and oppressive.

More Nonsense
While the French newspapers that re-printed the Muhammed cartoons are being banned in Tunisia and Morocco, Hezb Allah is speaking up on the issue.

The leader of Lebanon's Shi'ite Hizbollah group said the cartoonists would have thought twice if Muslims had fulfilled a 1989 edict by late Iranian leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini to kill Britain's Salman Rushdie over his novel The Satanic Verses.

"Had a Muslim carried out Imam Khomeini's fatwa against the apostate Salman Rushdie, then those lowlifers would not have dared discredit the Prophet, not in Denmark, Norway or France," said Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
Right. That've shown them! Give me a break!

From the same source, I read about a few "liberal" commentators. Heh. Here are some quotes from these "liberals":

"This active movement against the insults to the Prophet has been absent on many other issues which are no less important," Saad Hagras wrote in Egypt's Nadhet Misr.

"It is discouraging that the collective energy of the Muslim world is consumed punishing a small European country over a drawing, while U.S. military bases infest the heart of the Arab world," Palestinian-American Ramzy Baroud said in Egypt's English-language al-Ahram Weekly.

As'ad AbuKhalil, a Lebanese-born academic based in California, said Arab governments were inciting the campaign "to channel the political anger of their citizens".

"They would not dare to lead a campaign against Israel, so let them bash Denmark and Norway," he said.

So, these are the liberals of the Muslim world. Xenophobes and angry crackpots (that's most refering to Abu Khalil or the Angry Arab). They ought to be leading campaings against Israel, as if that hasn't already been done with spectacular results. And this business about U.S. military bases "infesting" the Arab world: yes, let's campaign against these bases so that in Iraq, the baby killing mafiosos can take the country over and make a second Iran or Saudi Arabia. Very liberal. Yes, we should focus our attention on the United States and Israel. I'm not sure where Reuters got the notion that these were "liberal" opinions. These are the same opinions of the Arab regimes. The only difference is that while the Arab regimes are both using the cartoons and hatred for Israel and the United States as a method of diverting public attention from their mismanagement and folly, these "liberals" are only advocating the later. If these foolios actually are the "liberal opposition" in the Arab and Muslim world, then we've got a bigger problem than I ever thought.

Addendum: I just saw on the BBC (TV) and Al-Arabiya (via The Big Pharaoh)that a Jordanian newspaper has reprinted the cartoons as well. Rock on.

Palestinian protesters burn empty boxes of European products during a demonstration against caricatures of Prophet Mohammad published in several European newspapers, after Friday prayers in Bourj al-Barajneh refugee camp in Beirut February 3, 2006. Denmark said on Friday it could not apologise for cartoons in a Danish newspaper depicting the Prophet Mohammad as outrage spread across the Muslim world from the Middle East to countries in Asia. How do you know that?

There are no disclaimers from the "moderate" muslims about the behavior of these jerks.

Call them "enablers".

"I see Niel Boortz is still doing his idiot impersonation."

Actually, he is expressing the beliefs and feelings of many non-Muslims about what is perceived as Muslim nonchance and indifference. It's good that you remind us here that there is at least some Muslim outrage instead of absolutely no Muslim outrage whatsoever. However, Rushdie's disbelief at the lack of Muslim outrage is more believeable.

There actually are disclaimers expressed by Muslims worldwide, that the violence-prone Muslims do not represent the viewpoint of most Muslims.

However, nearly the only time I have seen Muslims express outrage against Muslim violence is when said violence is inflicted on Muslims, and that has mostly been in Iraq and Iran.
