So Turkey is abuzz about the imminent release of their biggest-budget movie blockbuster ever.
Americans, however, may not be so thrilled.
In the most expensive Turkish movie ever made, American soldiers in Iraq crash a wedding and pump a little boy full of lead in front of his mother.
They kill dozens of innocent people with random machine gun fire, shoot the groom in the head, and drag those left alive to Abu Ghraib prison where a Jewish doctor cuts out their organs, which he sells to rich people in New York, London and Tel Aviv.
Valley of the Wolves Iraq, set to open in Turkey on Friday, feeds off the increasingly negative feelings many Turks harbor toward their longtime NATO allies: Americans.
The movie, which reportedly cost some $10 million, is the latest in a new genre of popular culture that demonizes the United States. It comes on the heels of a novel called Metal Storm about a war between Turkey and the U.S., which has been a best seller for months.
At this point, movies that portray America are annoying, but common; I'm not sure the Americans in this film are much more sinister than the CIA and oil companies in the wretched Syriana.
But what's special about this one is that some pretty prominent American actors are joining in the America-bashing:
The movie's American stars are Billy Zane, who plays a self-professed peacekeeper sent by God, and Gary Busey as the Jewish-American doctor.
Pardon my French, but Billy, Gary... you're whores. You will contribute to the vilest propaganda for a pile of cash. You're actors; we knew you would sell out your mother for a name above the title and a share of the home video rights, but now you're willing to act out stereotypes straight out of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion for some Turkish lira.

Actor Gary Busey arrested for domestic violence in USA
Source: Divorce-Online News
Authorities said Gary Busey was arrested and booked for investigation of spousal abuse after his ex-wife called deputies to complain the actor left her bruised.
Busey, the Oscar-nominated star of 1978's "The Buddy Holly Story," was arrested at his Malibu home around 6 p.m. on Dec. 2, said Sgt. Tim Youngern of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
The 57-year-old actor was booked at the Lost Hills station for investigation of spousal abuse and was released a short time later on $50,000 bond, the sergeant said Tuesday.
Busey's ex-wife, Tiani, called deputies to the home.
"Deputies observed bruises and her statement led to his arrest," Youngern said. "We are investigating. The bruises many not have been inflicted by him."
Busey is no longer represented by manager Herb Nanas or attorney Arthur Soll, who handled the actor's divorce case and said Tuesday he didn't know how to reach the actor. Busey has no representation listed with the Screen Actors Guild.
Busey and Tiani were married Sept. 23, 1996, about a year after paramedics were called to Busey's Malibu home by his future bride, who said he had collapsed after using cocaine. Authorities filed drug charges, but they were dropped after he enrolled in a drug-rehabilitation program.
The couple divorced in June 2000.
Busey's other films include 1992's "Under Siege" and 1993's "The Firm."
A Patriot for the Terrorists
Best foreign language picture next year. And it is propaganda.
Gary Busey is a mush mouthed ,Half witted piece of fecal material.
Never was better than a B grade actor and always plays crazies because he fits the type cast.
Lol, talk about miscasting. Gary Busey looks like he should be running moonshine somewhere.
Your tagline fits this article to a T.
Disgusting beyond words.
The last big thing Gary Busey did was CELEBRITY WEIGHT LOSS
Billy plays an American wrecking havoc in Turkey...and he admits it is slanted...
BUT, he is a patriot....
OH...gosh, NOW I know what a Patriot is....uh huh.
Last time I saw him he was "born again" after a motorcycle wreck or something
Translation: "No one else would hire me...I had to sell out my country."

I wish the same fate on these swine.
Wow! Too bad they didn't throw in a little Turkish fudge packing on horseback and release it a month ago. Instant Oscar!
ROFLMAO!!!
I am so ashamed. I used to have a crush on Gary Busy. He was even in a Christian movie a few years ago and I swear I saw some interview where he professed being a Christian.
I must have imagined it.
I don't think Busey has been the same ever since he wrecked his motorcycle and fell on his head without a helmet.
Of course he was not your average Joe before he fell on his head. He was good as Buddy Holly, but he takes himself pretty seriously.
I spent a year in Turkey and was always treated politely, but it was apparent that beneath a veneer of secularism Turkey is a strongly Moslem country. They despise, like other Moslem countries, many aspects of American culture (though they like our technology.) This film will only confirm in Turkish minds a lot of anti-American biases that are already there.
