Protests have spread across the Muslim world over the publication in Europe of cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad. The drawings, first printed in Denmark, sparked a fresh row when they were re-run in several newspapers, leading to the sacking of a French editor.
The man named to replace the France Soir editor has now resigned.

Wait a cotton pickin' minute..
Didn't the Abu Ghirab photos "enrage" the Muslims? And didn't the press show them repeatedly?
And what about a FALSE story about a Koran being flushed that actually led to the the death of a couple of dozen people? TIME had no trouble running that story.

Where is their outrage when in the name of Islam "infidels" are kidnapped and decapitated alive in front of a camera in Iraq ? Where is their outrage when brainwashed Muslim fanatics blow themselves up in Israel killing and maiming thousands of people including women and children.Actually, the Jordanian newspaper that printed some of the cartoons asked the same questions, and suggested that Muslims ought to be reasonable.

Yes--they are really courageous to print it in an Islamic country. So I'm asking pretty much the same question.

I've read Le Monde has run its own cartoon. An image of MuHuddah drawn with the sentence "I will not draw Muhammad" written over and over again. I've tried to be self-suficient. I've been looking for half an hour. Anyone have a link? Thanks.

Gosh I hate those fanatics. I just can't describe my disgust any other way.

It's a shame the muslim world produces little of value. I would have boycotted it long ago.
They export terror in the tradition of their revered prophet hero but little else.
Subjugation is what they know. Now they know the contempt many of us have for them.
Freedom of the press and free speech are inconceivable to people who can't even tolerate free thought.
