Capitol Police may have dropped charges against antiwar activist Cindy Sheehan and apologized, but that apparently hasn't made her any less angry over her arrest, or how she was treated as it happened.
Sheehan was one of two people kicked out of the audience of President Bush's State of the Union address in t-shirt-related incidents Tuesday night, but she was the only one arrested, on unlawful conduct counts.
She was wearing a t-shirt that alluded to the number of soldiers killed in Iraq: "2245 Dead. How many more?"
Also removed was Beverly Young, wife of Rep. C.W. "Bill" Young, R-Fla., whose t-shirt had the opposite message: "Support the Troops — Defending Our Freedom."
Sheehan was taken away in handcuffs before Mr. Bush's arrival at the Capitol and charged with a misdemeanor, while Young left the gallery and therefore was not arrested, said Capitol Police Chief Terrance Gainer in a statement.
Gainer apologized, saying, "The officers made a good faith, but mistaken effort to enforce an old unwritten interpretation of the prohibitions about demonstrating in the Capitol.
"The policy and procedures were too vague," he added. "The failure to adequately prepare the officers is mine."
But, back home in Los Angeles Wednesday, Sheehan told Linda Alvarez of CBS station KCBS-TV, "They violated my civil rights they humiliated me. They treated me like, instead of having just a t-shirt on, I had a weapon."
Sheehan was a guest of California Democratic Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey.

Hey Jerkette, you attended the event just for exposure. You went there wanting a confrontation. You don't have the ability to be embarrassed. The concept of humiliation is beyond Sheehan's ability to think.

The hell she did. Cindy was looking for attention, and she got it. Now she's just milking it for all it's worth.

I wish her son Casey could come back for just one minute and sit her down! She is insane and my "pity quotient" has long since been exhausted.
when I hear the name Cindy Sheehan, I picture Dante's Inferno, I picture her as Dante pictured himself, in the middle of his life, lost in a metaphorically dark wood that is sin. With every word she utters she takes one step closer to the next ring. ah, but she has far to travel to reach Purgatorio and Paradiso, if she can make it there at all. I believe she has not traveled from Limbo to the second ring for it is there that the demon Minos judges the sinners and assigns them to their place in Hell. I don't think she's been assigned yet. I think she believes she is still wandering the green hills as she sits among the scholars and poets. I thought at first she had made it to safety in the sixth pouch of Malebloge, where hypocrits are made to wear heavy lead robes but she hasn't sunk yet. I wonder if she will ever find humility. I hope she does because she's got a lot of answering to do to her son when they meet again.

If there is not one, then there should be a dress code for visitors and everyone while in the visitors galley.
Doesn't matter what's written on it: People with ANY class at all wouldn't even THINK of wearing a t-shirt to the State of the Union.

I'll bet she had several more shirts printed up with "2246" "2250", etc., and was hoping that more soldiers would be reported dead before the SOTU so she could up the ante.
I don't think she's ever going to see her son again, not where she's going. Casey's in the other much better place and she'll never there.
