I comprehend the written word.

What you and Howlin and all the other witchy-whiners don't comprehend is the truth and what you can't face, are the facts.

Now, what else are they teaching you in grade school these days?

We can all SEE the truth; you and I both did the same exact thing.

Only nobody on here had an orgasmic fit like you did.

I would have preferred Shadegg, but I think Boehner is close enough. He will push for reform.

Nice animated self portrait. Looking good there, meg33. Are you part of the Howlin Circus that's come to town? Quite entertaining.

"I for one don’t think we stop illegal immigration by strangling the small businesses that are the backbone of our economy. Nor do I believe it is right to turn small business owners into felons for failing to do the federal government’s job of protecting the borders. Had it not been for this one section, I would have supported the bill."

From this it must certainly follow that Boehner would oppose any strengthening of measures designed to hold all businesses (Big & small) liable for hiring illegal aliens.

Since strong enforcement of the law against hiring of illegals is a significant part of any credible immigration reform legislation, Boehner is on the wrong side of this issue.

If he maintains this stance, conservatives will not want to support him.

I think at one point they went onto the house floor with paper bags over their heads to protest that the discharge petition names were secret so folks could lie that they signed it, or somehting.

You are right. I just read that at RollCall.com

I read that editorial the other day .. would have liked seeubg an apples-to-apples comparison, i.e., Boehner's scores go back to 1991, Shadegg 1995, Blount 1997. Apparently, Boehner was the only one in office during a Democrat majority, which would affect scores significantly. Would like to see all votes compared from 1997 forward, when they were all voting on the same legislation. Alas, Boehner's da man now and I hope the Members can rally around him and move forward for the good of the party.

I had no orgasmic fit and I didn't engage in plagiarism, like you did. After I caught you red handed and brought it to your attention, you didn't say, I made a mistake and move on. You denied it ever happened. Pathetic.

Unless we can resurrect President Reagan, I don't see any happy days in your future.

You are one pitiful, little guy.

You mean Gilchrist and Buchanan voted for Shadegg?

"Which means, an open borders (business as usual) Chertoff clone??"

I hope this is not the case, once everything shakes out on immigration reform. If he supports Bush on his "guest worker shamnesty", then he will have zero credibility with conservatives. Zero.

Thanks for the ping, defconw! I've been away for a few hours. Wanted Shaddig (until I discovered mcVain was for him).
At least it's not Blunt! He's had a few more problems in the background with his son, etc.
And he refused to step down from Whip to run for Leader. That spells arrogance and intimidation to me.

"I am not a crook." Richard Nixon.

Neither did you.....................ROFLMAO.

You're protesting WAY too much; everybody on this thread can READ and SEE that you and I did the exact same thing, only you're too dense to admit it.

But don't let me stop you; carry on; you're losing what little credibility you had left!
