Did Castro Kill Kennedy?
Media Monitor ^ | 2/2/2006 | Roger Aronoff

Compelling new evidence of a Cuban Communist role in the assassination of former president John F. Kennedy has come to light, but has received little attention in the U.S. media.

It comes at a time when there has been renewed interest in the attempted assassination of Pope John Paul II and the alleged Soviet role behind that.

SNIP

In the Kennedy matter, the big news comes from a German TV documentary that claims that the Cuban government was behind the assassination of former president John F. Kennedy by Lee Harvey Oswald. The film is called "Rendezvous With Death," by award winning director Wilfried Huissman. It took five years to make, and reports suggest that it makes a compelling case.

Among those talking on camera is Oscar Marino, a former Cuban intelligence agent. He says that the Cubans wanted Kennedy dead because he had opposed the Cuban revolution, and had tried to have Castro assassinated. Marino told Huissman that he knew for certain that the Cuban secret service G2 had carried out and financed the operation, though he wouldn't say if Castro had directly ordered it. But under Castro's brutal dictatorship, which has endured for nearly half a century, it is not conceivable that this would have happened without his blessing. As Marino described it, Oswald "was so full of hate, he had the idea. We used him."

According to Marino, the Cubans contacted Oswald after being tipped off by their patrons, the Soviet KGB. Oswald had lived there for three years after deserting from the U.S. military. There he married the niece of a KGB colonel. He was allowed to return to the U.S. and bring his wife with him. He continued to call himself a Communist, and demonstrated on behalf of Cuba.

The question of who killed Kennedy will, for some folks, never be answered to their satisfaction.

Right. Castro killed Kennedy... then used the Warren Commission to cover it up... and later killed RFK and MLK...

Did Castro Kill Kennedy?

Why else have we isolated Cuba so completely, for so long? We held summits with the Soviets and Chicoms, but not Castro. Cuba is probably the only country on earth where Americans need to get government permission to travel to.

It's an established fact that the Kennedy's, John and Robert, were trying to kill Castro. That he might have known about it, and decided to return the favor, is only logical.

I believe this. And I believe Castro wasn't messed with afterwards because he retaliated for Kennedy trying clumsily to knock him off. Like this story suggests, LBJ wasn't excited about revealing this to the public because it would strengthen the hand of the right. I have no doubt this is the case after watching how OKC and NYC were handled.

I've always suspected Castro set the assassination in motion as payback for our attempts on his life.

"has received little attention in the U.S. media."

The MSM adores Castro and won't even speculate about something that would show him in a negative light. But if someone came up with a theory that Nixon was behind it...

What I've heard and read on the subject tells me that Castro and the Mafia are the two most logical suspects.

Those over in DUmmie Land,OTOH,are convinced...and will always be convinced...that the CIA did it to prevent JKF from carrying out his plan to withdraw from Vietnam.

Couldn't have been murder, Otherwise, surely his sentence would have been more than a suspended license. Massachusetts is tough on crime.

Sherlock Holmes would have easily solved this case.

The proof is in the past 42 years.

We even made nice with Vietnam, even though they defeated us at home.

We have never eased up on Castro.

If the truth had been released in the 1960s, the American people would have demanded action....

That might have ignited WW3 with the Soviets.

The lie has been kept quiet.

Castro? I don't buy it.

How old was Karl Rove in 1963?

Castro killed Kennedy... then used the Warren Commission to cover it up

The Warren Commission fingered Oswald. And as recently as the summer of '63 Oswald was spending his time protesting in the "Hands off Cuba" movement.

If Castro did kill Kennedy, then the government 1) wouldn't want to admit a "defeat" to a communist. And 2) wouldn't want to incite the American people into a frenzy to invade Cuba, and probably the USSR as well. Had we admitted that Cuba killed Kennedy, nuclear WWIII would probably have started within the week.

The book "A Texan Looks at Lyndon" came out in the 1960's and gave this information for all who were interested. Only Conservatives knew about it. The information would still destroy the Democrat Party. Therefore, it will not come out in the "Good Ole USofA".

And all this time I thought bush had traveled back through time to set the wheels in motion so he would be elected.

Or lets just say it's Bush's fault.
