I not only think it was about Rep. YOung's wife outfit...but, now I think I have found out it wasn't McDermott it WAS Rep. YOUNG...making the speech this morning...
Young was shouting, and acting so crazed...he looked like McDermott...but that is no excuse for me to misname him and excoriate him like I did...
SO...once again...I apologize to Rep. McDermott...and I am putting myself in the time-out chair for a while from posting comments about House members...
I really hate what I did today...I acted like a DUmmie.

I agree with you. However, most here are single focused. Persons have their own decision-making procesees and opinions. I do not remember my family telling me how to process and program me. I was taught to think. Not a mantra.
For instance, I was taught how the process of fertilizing a womb, and the subsequent decisions. The government is involved in what the resultant out come should be.
Cause and effect.

Thank you for your heartfelt standard of right and wrong...it is because you DO CHECK and CORRECT if necessary that is PRECISELY why you are a role model to many FReepers! DUmmies would just try ot excuse themselves...but they would never correct themselves or feel they had done wrong....they would JUSTIFY it...

Don't be hard on yourself -- even though you were wrong about McDermott in this instance, there are plenty of other things he has done for which he has not been brought to account. This just makes up for one of those.
