RUSH: Our last caller told the screener she wanted to talk about Quakers and vegans. Unfortunately, we never got there, folks. That was Jill from Ithaca. Was it Cindy Sheehan's sister? Ithaca is the City of Evil.

Abramoff helped him put his interior cabinet together.
LOL! They put the exterior cabinet out on the porch.

I also feel sorry for people of her ilk. What a sad and lonely world to live in, to always be suspicious of conspiracy, to consistently make a fool of themselves.
Last evening, my husband and I went to watch his college basketball team play on a cable channel we don't have. At this sports bar, the SOTU was on mute. There were three men there making some of the most inappropriate and absurd anti-Bush comments I've ever heard.
Of course, all three guys were sitting alone, were very unattractive, looked disheveled, and basically were making fools of themselves. My husband had to hold me back from asking one of the guys to pipe down. We both agreed that it must be a very lonely life to lead...

After watching one episode (total waste of time) of "American Idol", at my daughter's request, I have no problem believing this woman's emotionally retarded rant.
They're out there people . . . (background music to "Dark Shadows")

Another member of the Tinfoil Hat Brigade heard from. Rush handled the encounter very well, I thought.

Was it Cindy Sheehan's sister?
Thank you. And Rush.
I now have a quip about any loony lefty woman that I can't avoid
interacting with on a social or business level.

Why would you be upset at someone calling you "honey?" Who cares? Get over it! It's a whole lot better than some other words she could have been called....

CALLER: Listen, I believe Scott Ritter. I listened to Scott Ritter since day one that they didn't have weapons of mass destruction. Ritter(before the bribes):
"We had some very specific information, which led us to believe we could go to locations where we would find aspects of this hidden weaponry, of these hidden components, and also uncover how Iraq actually went about hiding these weapons from the commission.
We had very specific information, and we believe that if we'd been allowed to accomplish this inspection, we could have achieved meaningful disarmament results."
On cliams he was a spy for Israel and the US:
"they have painted me as a troublemaker in an effort to distract the world's attention away from its failure-Iraq's failure to abide by its disarmament obligations."
On Iraq hiding it weapons from inspectors:
"Iraq today is challenging the special commission to come up with a weapon and say where is the weapon in Iraq, and yet part of their efforts to conceal their capabilities, I believe, have been to disassemble weapons into various components and to hide these components throughout Iraq.
On Saddams WMD:
Iraq can in a very short period of time measure the months, reconstitute chemical biological weapons, long-range ballistic missiles to deliver these weapons, and even certain aspects of their nuclear weaponization program.
"If the world wants to rid Iraq of weapons of mass destruction"....
On UN resolutions and force against Iraq:
you couldn't have had the February MOU without the real and credible threat of military force. That's an obvious statement. You can't expect to enforce the law unless you have the means to carry out the enforcement.
