I also feel sorry for people of her ilk. What a sad and lonely world to live in, to always be suspicious of conspiracy, to consistently make a fool of themselves.
Last evening, my husband and I went to watch his college basketball team play on a cable channel we don't have. At this sports bar, the SOTU was on mute. There were three men there making some of the most inappropriate and absurd anti-Bush comments I've ever heard.
Of course, all three guys were sitting alone, were very unattractive, looked disheveled, and basically were making fools of themselves. My husband had to hold me back from asking one of the guys to pipe down. We both agreed that it must be a very lonely life to lead...
My sister said that the 9/11 attacks were "weird".
That comment alone has damaged our relationship terribly. I don't know if I have ever forgiven her for that remark. We hardly speak anymore. Too bad.
