Which is going to run tomorrow? The response OF the Joint Chiefs, or the Post's response TO the JC?

Disgusting, but soooo typical of the attitude that the left has towards our military. Our people in uniform are just more political footballs to be put in play as needed.
Except when they try to vote from overseas postings. Not fit to govern.

The Washington Post is despicable.
Like Rather and CBS, the "Enemy Within" no longer cares who knows about their Leftist agenda.

Great letter to the dipsticks at the Washington Post, but it didn't tell the Post folks to feel free to go straight to hell! Now that, my dear Generals, would have been my letter to those SOB's at the WAPO. Not a funny cartoon at all, and it is designed to humiliate our wounded military heroes, and I don't like it one damned bit. Shame on them for denigrating our brave men and women in the Armed Forces.

Any chance someone could post the letter? I can't pull it up, pdf screws up my computer.
I really doubt that I'll be impressed with words.
I'd like to see a little action.

THE CARTOON IS TOO SUBTLE
The patient is clearly marked as "U.S. Army", meaning the whole organization. The cartoon refers to, in the cartoonist's view, crippling cuts in the size of the military in Rumsfeld's reorganizations, the latest of which is a cut in reserves announced Tuesday. The two characters at the bottom then refer to stretching the truncated military back out.
The cartoon is being widely misinterpreted as Rumsfeld showing callousness toward wounded soldiers returning from the war.

The attack is a slander on the performance of the forces as a whole. I'm surprised that this has gotten sidetracked into a grievance to the wounded/killed in action. If you avoid addressing a main point you give the impression your case is weak, which is colossally untrue here. The forces are bearing up extremely well by the lights of just about any past war.
