There are 2 possibilities that I see:

1. They don't want Hillary.

2. They are staging her own "phenomenal comeback" -- as they staged one for Bill Clinton -- so she can be lauded as a flippin' genius, overcomer of adversity, woman of the millenium, etc., etc. /sarcasm.
