And that my FRiend Antoninus is why I believe this nation is quite literally screwed. These foolish children do not know right from wrong and they are the ones who will soon be in charge. Once the college age children finally get the keys to the country, it's all over.

Don't be so pessimistic. You start to sound like an old curmudgeon. If the 1960s generation doesn't destroy this country, none will. I've known plenty of people from my generation (X) that sounded like this young "skull full of mush" in college, then ended up rebelling against the rebels.

Fact of life #27: People are stupid when they're young.

Maybe, but we are getting further and further away from the last generation that as a whole taught their children how to know good from evil.

Maybe this generation isn't as bad as they appear, but they sure have a lot of PR people working overtime to make them seem as stupid as stumps.

I AM an old curmudgeon. Well, maybe not as old as that, but close enough if you count the mileage.

I seem to recall a certain British Prime Minister making the same point a bit more eloquently.

I'll add that it is liberals of the 60s generation that indoctrinate the youth of today.

I'll also add that as "progressive" as the US is, Europe is even worse in their attitudes. Expect more outside pressure to influence us (and continued efforts by judges to let foreign law influence their decisions).
