The State of Virginia should be furious. Their Governor just went on national television spewing the usual democrat, liberal, and hate filled statements that democrats have become famous for.
But he started out by stating that he was offering his remarks, not only on behalf of his party, BUT THE COMMON WEALTH OF VIRGINIA!
Surely the entire citizen count of Virginia does not agree with him.
Kaine just introduced himself to the Nation as a raging Liberal.
So he can kiss any chance at running for President goodbye.
Geez a ex-religious something or another that came across as GAY and a failed Chevy salesman.
Right on the money!!!!!
ping
Shivers down my spine when he mentioned the Creator.
LOL!, That is now my Desktop,Thanks
The "dope" gave the democRAT response!!
That eyebrow thing is gonna give me nightmares. Verrrrrry strange.
I didn't watch Kaine's reply. Please surmise what his plans are to "do better." Thanks.
That's Eunice Gayson Syndrome.
re: the early James Bond movies.
Has anyone ever helped themselves by giving the opposition speech? The president is supposed to report to Congress, by giving the opposition talk you look totally political and you can't compete with the presidential address.
"but I have no idea what he just said".
Exactly! That's why Newt gave him high marks for one of the best responses in recent memory. Contrast this with a Dean Scream or a Pelosi Punditry. Purely oratorically, hard to get a grip on as silly putty, with a vague suggestion that "we are the reasoned party".
(credit to armymarinemom for the pic! :)
Kaine is certainly not able.
Hey there, GottaluvAkitas!!
I'm fine, but deeply embarassed by little Timmy Kaine.
Oh, I have to mention the dems were also split on whether to applaud a ban on "human-animal hybrids." Perhaps this has a tie-in to his floating eyebrow. I know my cat's ears move independently.
On behalf of all FReepers from Virginia.
Please let us extend our apologies for our Governor. But, don't blame me. I didn't vote for him.
His manner of speaking reminded me of the late Fred Rogers, though Mr. Rogers was far more respectful and respect-worthy. I couldn't watch the whole thing (though I did videotape it) because of my increasing desire to throw the remote at the TV. Yes, the people of New Orleans were failed by their government. But which government is that and which party runs it?
Yeah. Looked like his 'Pelosi stitching' came loose behind one ear...
