Cindy Sheehan Arrested Moments Before Bush State of the Union Speech C. L. Cook

PEJ News January 31, 2006

Enduring the last hour of CNN's political "coverage" of George W. Bush's State of the Union, indistinguishable in style and substance, than the tedious preamble certain to precede next week's Super Bowl XL (Go Seahawks!), a momentary blimp in the pallid farce passing as analysis for the media corpse these sad days: "Cindy Sheehan has been arrested!"

It took Wolf, Jeff, Paula, and that King guy only a heartbeat to frame the issue: "I think some Democrats are going to be very upset that one of their colleagues extended an invitation to the controversial, Sheehan."

Apparently, Sheehan was grabbed trying to unfurl a banner, something banned in the chamber, and was drug away by Capitol Hill Police.

This according to CNN.

How in the heck did she get the banner by the good folks who should be searching each guest (and apparently rabid rat congressmen) thoroughly before being allowed into the chamber?

I also think that these congressmen should know better. It might have also been a slap at both Bush and hitlery.

Arkancide is likely in Cindy's future.

She wore the banner as a loin cloth, its how she covered up her pistachio ice cream green thong

Oh gee thanks, you just made me lose my apetite! LOL

Wait a minute, it's back! Hubby Dearest is making Greek Burgers out on the grill tonight, it is still EARLY in Southern Calif.

The banner? Probably hidden under her jacket. Not easy to smuggle in ANYTHING when Bush is speaking. I went to a Bush round table event in Galveston, Tex. last year having to do with Soc. Sec. Private accouts (we already have them in Galveston and Brazoria County Texas and they WORK) We had to take off jackets, let them take our purses and really go through them, and go through metal detector. You could not sneak ANYTHING in. He is SO handsome in person.

LMAO...good one! I can do without the visual...ewwww!

Or...she used the banner to disguise her new set of Martha Stewart cookware that she was going to "bang for the cause".

Nope, no crack pipe. But I'd love to hear the Dims finally paint Sheehan as the moonbat that she is instead of the kid glove treatment she gets now. There's no way Sheehan could actually be elected Senator.

Don't be surprised. I thought the same thing about my 'representative' Carl Levin ----30 years ago.

What a complete setup: Grab headlines from the president. Typical liberal tactic #5485.

The "banner" was apparently her t-shirt which had a slogan on it, which she tried to reveal while sitting in the front row of the gallery..

...moron....

Sheehan has done a fine job of painting herself as a moonbat. The Dims won't do anything against her, she's their dead soldier's anguished mother symbol. She's almost as bad as Kerry, except, as you have stated, she has a somewhat valid reason to protest.
