WELCOME
to the first, RNC officially sanctioned, CYBER GOP House Party for the President's STATE of the UNION speech!
There are 1375 Parties nationwide, and WE are the biggest and the best! Tonight, President Bush, in his STATE of the UNION speech, will discuss America's leadership in the world and share his vision to lead America forward. To seize opportunities here at home, the President will outline the policies needed for the American people to continue to compete in the global economy.
Earlier today, the President sat with Supreme Court nominee, Samuel Alito in the Roosevelt Room at the White House, and watched the Senate confirmation vote as they approved his nomination 58-42, fulfilling one of President Bush's most significant campaign pledges by placing on the Supreme Court another justice who will interpret the Constitution as the Founders intended, and not legislate from the bench. THANK you, President Bush! (Justice Alito was sworn in at 12:07 this afternoon as the 110th Supreme Court Justice)
President Bush also released a statement regarding the death of widow of Civil Rights Leader Martin Luther King, Jr, Coretta Scott King and met with TV reporters in the White House to give them a glimpse of his State of the Union, emphasizing his optimism for the future of America. He also continued to work on this speech for tonight.
The economy is strong, we are winning our War on Terror and it is a GOOD DAY in America, and a GREAT time to be a Bush-bot!
Enjoy your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose............ let's PARTY!!!!!!!!!
Here are your party favors! Please share..........

I would vote for Condi too.
I like Romney, but I worry about his electability for a variety of reasons.
In any case, it's going to be an interesting couple of years.

Brian Wilson is now interviewing Ben Nelson-D who is the only Dem who stood when President Bush asked for renewal of the Patriot Act.
And Wilson had them replay the clip show it. It so happens that Nelson was sitting right next to Landrieu, who huffed and puffed while Nelson was standing!

I wish I had that chance too...

I had to move out of Virginia because my real estate taxes doubled in 4 years. I can't afford $8000 that goes straight to Richmond! Ridiculous.
And then when Warner had a $2 BILLION surplus, he kept it, for a "rainy day". That was it. I had to leave or I'd have gone to Richmond and shot that slug.

Is the NATIONAL PRAYER BREAKFAST scheduled for tomorrow morning?
If it is, I'm hoping FoxNews or C-span plans to broadcast it -- I just love the President's prayerful comments at this event! [C-Span doesn't as yet have it on its schedule.]

Of the governors, he's the only one I can think of that I like. But really, the race (at least as far as I'm concerned) is WIDE open and I have no idea who I'll support.

Landrieu looked like my granddaughter, who had to sit in the "time out" chair this afternoon. LOL!
Nelson was good, and I hope he switches parties. He actually makes sense.

Fox News tries very hard to be non Parisian, but we all know that every conservative reporter in the country wants to work for Fox, and most of them do, but I consider FOX NEWS my home for news and despite any of their gestures to seem neutral, I am comforted to know that FOX NEWS speaks for most of us :-)

Wonder if Chris gets along with his Dad.
Seems like they'd be at odds politically, doesn't it?
