WELCOME
to the first, RNC officially sanctioned, CYBER GOP House Party for the President's STATE of the UNION speech!
There are 1375 Parties nationwide, and WE are the biggest and the best! Tonight, President Bush, in his STATE of the UNION speech, will discuss America's leadership in the world and share his vision to lead America forward. To seize opportunities here at home, the President will outline the policies needed for the American people to continue to compete in the global economy.
Earlier today, the President sat with Supreme Court nominee, Samuel Alito in the Roosevelt Room at the White House, and watched the Senate confirmation vote as they approved his nomination 58-42, fulfilling one of President Bush's most significant campaign pledges by placing on the Supreme Court another justice who will interpret the Constitution as the Founders intended, and not legislate from the bench. THANK you, President Bush! (Justice Alito was sworn in at 12:07 this afternoon as the 110th Supreme Court Justice)
President Bush also released a statement regarding the death of widow of Civil Rights Leader Martin Luther King, Jr, Coretta Scott King and met with TV reporters in the White House to give them a glimpse of his State of the Union, emphasizing his optimism for the future of America. He also continued to work on this speech for tonight.
The economy is strong, we are winning our War on Terror and it is a GOOD DAY in America, and a GREAT time to be a Bush-bot!
Enjoy your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose............ let's PARTY!!!!!!!!!
Here are your party favors! Please share..........

Well forgive me, if I don't understand Chris Wallace-speak. It comes with a snark I don't appreciate. And Fox News Sunday has all but lost me, because of him.

Count me in. Another good day for our great and good president, and for this nation. Thank you for the posts.

Did you see the thread that says that Cheney will step down for health reasons...and Bush is going to appoint FRIST to take his place???
YIKES...
To: n-tres-ted
I am watching on FOX now. I just saw the hag jr from NY...laughing and shaking her head as the President defended the terrorist surveillance and said we would NOT wait to be hit again.
Did anyone else see this? Also, the whole demonRAT side were sitting and not clapping, while the Republicans were on their feet cheering!

No .. dang it .. I've been on this thread, with the speech on again behind me ...;(.. If anyone has a screen capture, I hope they'll put it up. That shot deserved much more time in light of things .. but, of course, they had to brush over her presence. Typical.

They had a chance: Miguel Estrada .. but he'd probably not go through that hell again, and who could blame him.

Nope, I have to wait until Monday of next week to have a root canal done. The antibiotics seem to be working because the swelling is down significantly since yesterday

Well...I posted on that thread...that Bush would lose a hugh portion of his base if he named Frist...but, that I am PRAYING with all my heart that Cheney is well enough to complete the term with President Bush...
They are a TEAM...and I think one of the BEST POTUS/VP teams there probably ever was...
To: MJY1288
Ohh .. Mike, that's so painful. Make sure you take the antibiotics as prescribed .. and don't skip even one. Sure hope that infection subsides before the root canal. Take care of yourself .. hope you're better really soon. {{{{{MIKE}}}}(Don't look Mrs. Mike ;)
