They were disgraceful. Their sneering and total lack of grace made W loom even larger and look more Presidential by comparison, and magnified the power of his straightforward, confident even speech.

I agree. At those times when the 'Rats inappropriately refused to stand and applaud, W had the slightest smirk that conveyed to me that he knew they had painted themselves into an untenable corner. I don't think they'll get it before election day. More 'Ican seat gains in both houses?
