Good morning, all.
Join us today for the final victory lap, the vote to "confirm Samuel Alito, of New Jersey, to be an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court."
It's all over except the final vote tally.
Lots of surprises yesterday at the HUGE vote to impose cloture, so perhaps there are still some surprise votes to come?

Does anyone know if Alito will get sworn in today? Yes. Ceremony is scheduled for noon I think.

It's to be SEEN voting no; it's for their fool base.

Sheets voted yes? I think I just saw a pig fly....
He's beginning to look like an old school democrat... scary that he's looking *slightly* centrist.

That would probably lead to the nuclear option we've all been hoping for. If the Dems didn't filibuster their base would go off the deep end (that is even deeper then they already are).
