Join us today for the final victory lap, the vote to "confirm Samuel Alito, of New Jersey, to be an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court."
It's all over except the final vote tally.
Lots of surprises yesterday at the HUGE vote to impose cloture, so perhaps there are still some surprise votes to come?

If CJ Roberts has any sense of humor, he should now leak that a major addition to the docket for the Court is imminent.

"It's the gutless wonders who DID not vote.... Clinton, Kerry, Bill Nelson, Byrd, etc. on the first round. Convenient."
Clinton I can understand. She is jockeying to be all things to all people. But where is Kerry? Representing the kook left is his schtick.
