...our leaders in Washington a best offer lip-service, at worst ignore the problem not wishing to alienate a perceived voting block. And we continue to be taken for granted!

FReepers have been screaming that (close the borders) since FR's inception.

Fox & Friends just aired a story about a sheriff in Ohio who is billing the Feds for the cost of illegal immigrants in his county. They're not doing their job keeping them out of the country.
Supposedly 900 illegal immigrants in that sheriff's county alone. So...how is it that we can count them but we can't scoop them up and send them back?

We must keep up the pressure on our representatives to:
1. Locate and deport all illegal aliens.
2. Declare a 75 year moratorium on immigrations.
3. Use the military to patrol our borders, just like we patrol Iraq's borders.
4. Stop giving welfare to illegal aliens.

I thought BDU's was basic duty uniforms.

Bush is giving Shrillary the election if she ever were to jump on the illegal bandwagon.

So when do they deport the illegals, patrol the border, and build the wall?

With, the Democratic party in a full melt down, we may see the Republican party split into two camps; those that favor global socialism (the New World Order) and those who favor conservative nationalism (want to seal the border and respect national sovereignty). It is clear that the current lines of communication are broken and that the party leadership is deaf to what the base has been calling for.

Sheriff, not to worry.
The House Committee on Immigration has told its Subcommittee on Law Enforcement to tell its Subcommittee on Latin American Affairs to tell ITS Subcommittee on "Trade With Mexico" to hold a hearing.
And the Senate is on top of it too. Today after Alito is confirmed, rumor has it that ONE senator is going to say the word "immigration" on the floor - and then go for cocktails.
See, nothing to worry about.

I'm really puzzled at the lack of action by our current admin.
Just read about the Texas border clash this weekend, I hope the Mexican Army (alleged of course -wink-) presence will spur some in DC to rethink their Mamby-Pamby handling of our National Security.
Mix this ongoing issue with Bush 41 and 43's recent comments regarding Clinton and his newfound 'cozy' relationship to the family and I just feel disgusted...
Melhman and the GOP can kiss my donations goodbye until there's a logical and sane attempt to secure our National Borders. I urge my fellow Freepers to do the same, sadly money talks and they will listen if enough support wanes because of their leadership failure on this issue.
I was just down to TJ last week and you can see the men taking up their positions at noon for their crossing attempts that night... blatant, without a care, casual as if they were out for a stroll.

"With, the Democratic party in a full melt down, we may see the Republican party split into two camps; those that favor global socialism (the New World Order) and those who favor conservative nationalism (want to seal the border and respect national sovereignty)." It looks like Conservative nationalism will win out. All it will take to make the "new world order" of global socialism fall flat on it's face is a war (which has already begun), and the global economy taking a nose dive. Socialism cannot survive without OPM, (other peoples money) and that becomes scarce during depressions.

2. Declare a 75 year moratorium on immigrations.
How did you arrive at 75 years? Personally, 10 or 15 would satisfy me, unless there a good reason for much longer.

I agree. It's absolutely disgusting how this admin ignores the problem. Bush would be wise to do something about the problem NOW, or else I'm afraid many will do as you suggest.
To: arasina
They're not doing their job keeping them out of the country. It's gets worse than that, the feds refuse to detain and deport most of the illegals when they're found out by local agencies. They just let them go their merry way...
To: FerdieMurphy
How can the President of the United States allow a foreign soldiers on US soil who are carrying automatic firearms? Where are the so-called gun control advocates in congress who wish to disarm American citizens? Are they not concerned with foreign nationals entering the country armed to the teeth? US police departments are outgunned and outmanned and no one save a few congressmen are displaying any concern.Enough to make one's blood boil!
