Fox & Friends just aired a story about a sheriff in Ohio who is billing the Feds for the cost of illegal immigrants in his county. They're not doing their job keeping them out of the country.
Supposedly 900 illegal immigrants in that sheriff's county alone. So...how is it that we can count them but we can't scoop them up and send them back?

We must keep up the pressure on our representatives to:
1. Locate and deport all illegal aliens.
2. Declare a 75 year moratorium on immigrations.
3. Use the military to patrol our borders, just like we patrol Iraq's borders.
4. Stop giving welfare to illegal aliens.

Sheriff, not to worry.
The House Committee on Immigration has told its Subcommittee on Law Enforcement to tell its Subcommittee on Latin American Affairs to tell ITS Subcommittee on "Trade With Mexico" to hold a hearing.
And the Senate is on top of it too. Today after Alito is confirmed, rumor has it that ONE senator is going to say the word "immigration" on the floor - and then go for cocktails.
See, nothing to worry about.

I'm really puzzled at the lack of action by our current admin.
Just read about the Texas border clash this weekend, I hope the Mexican Army (alleged of course -wink-) presence will spur some in DC to rethink their Mamby-Pamby handling of our National Security.
Mix this ongoing issue with Bush 41 and 43's recent comments regarding Clinton and his newfound 'cozy' relationship to the family and I just feel disgusted...
Melhman and the GOP can kiss my donations goodbye until there's a logical and sane attempt to secure our National Borders. I urge my fellow Freepers to do the same, sadly money talks and they will listen if enough support wanes because of their leadership failure on this issue.
I was just down to TJ last week and you can see the men taking up their positions at noon for their crossing attempts that night... blatant, without a care, casual as if they were out for a stroll.

How can the President of the United States allow a foreign soldiers on US soil who are carrying automatic firearms? Where are the so-called gun control advocates in congress who wish to disarm American citizens? Are they not concerned with foreign nationals entering the country armed to the teeth? US police departments are outgunned and outmanned and no one save a few congressmen are displaying any concern.Enough to make one's blood boil!

It seems that the city council of Los Angeles has opposite wierd illegal immigration views.
Read this article: LA City Council to Minutemen: Go Home! by Leslie Radford Friday, Feb. 03, 2006, LA Times
In a stinging denunciation, the L.A. City Council goes on record against the Minutemen and Save Our State, but ices out the farmers. The Council moved Item No. 7 to second position on the agenda, effectively declaring it a consent item. The Council resolved to "include in the Citys 2005-06 State and Federal Legislative Program, SUPPORT of State or Federal Legislation denouncing and prohibiting the vigilante actions of individuals against immigrants along the border and within urban communities and enact immigration reform leading towards a path of permanent status for immigrants here now and wider legal channels for those coming in the future."
Apparently anticipating unanimous consent, Council President Eric Garcetti asked scheduled public speakers, all in support, to forego their comments. Without opposition from the council or the public, the vote was 10-0, with Ed Reyes (1st District), Dennis Zine (3rd District), Tom LaBonge (4th District), Jack Weiss, (5th District), Alex Padilla (7th District), Herb Wesson (10th District), Bill Rosendahl (11th District) Greig Smith (12th District), and Janice Hahn (15th District) present and voting in favor.++++
