"BEIRUT, Lebanon - The controversy over Danish caricatures of Prophet Muhammad escalated Monday as gunmen seized an EU office in Gaza and Muslims appealed for a trade boycott of Danish products. Denmark called for its citizens in the Middle East to exercise vigilance."

OK...I think we understand you.
And so do you.
and right now Mohommed is getting cornholed by a donkey in hell and it's the donkey that's being punished.
perhaps you need to look at who wrote you that quote you so eloqently repeated to me, for i did not write that.
ive never seen the movie you mention but i have been told it mocks religion, which i find very inappropriate. that is my opinion. i do not patronize knowingly those who mock others faiths, but then again, i believe in freedom of relgion.

Getting a little confusing then. What do you mean by the above?
ok, let me explain it this way. if you allow filth in your home and enjoy it, that does not mean others have to follow your lead. i am not trying to insult you or anyone else, but christians and jews do not defend their relgion generally, that is their problem. muslims who i disagree with even on the rising of the sun, do defend their faith as i would expect any god fearing person to do. get it?
"i know im going to get killed for this"
Why would you be killed? Did you draw the cartoons or forget to bow down to islam? If you are really worried, maybe you can find a kevlar turtleneck to wear until the terror level subsides.
They are posted above here on this thread. You can't see them?
Does it ever occur to you that Muslims must by default be apologists?
you make some exellent comments. again, western nations have deluded themselves on this matter with muslims, muslims otoh have no deluded themselves at all, hence the wot. since even our president cotinually compliments islam, i think it is a recognized religion, but thats for another discussion. the backlash as you so correctly state is due to the complete and utter helpnessness people feel when faced with the reality that islam is intent on other relgions destruction. that is the reality of things. mocking with cartoons is juvenile at best and only serve to give them more confidence, a bad mistake, given the political realites of today. look at iran, she will have her bomb no matter what you do. actually, i have an idea, no one is going to do anything. i will never get used to cartoons mocking others faiths, i believe in freedom of religion and as such refrain from mocking other relgions. when you mention its incompatibility with western democracies, i have to ask you, who let them come here? when you mention they continued mantra of relgion of peace, who tells you that? answer truthfully and you will understand my point.
you are playing at semantics now, that wont do for me. fact is that they believe what they believe, while the west doesnt quite know what to believe. even having said that, mocking is not appropriate, as many of our own laws insist. ever heard of hate speech toward others relgions? its real and official.
actually, im not worried about being killed by muslims. they are generally very easy to manipulate with some intelligence. i was referring to the posts that would come my way, but i must say, they have been very civil and i appreciate that.
Those darned Islamofascists are just no fun at all. They have no sense of humor. I know they're not coming to any of my parties!
I'm not sure I understand- just how did they piss off the mooslims again? A cartoon of mumhammid with a rag on his head or what exactly?
Yes.
Suppress any and all criticism of the Moslem religion or you will be murdered, etc.
Brought to you by the Religion of Peace.
I am hardly playing semantics. I just quoted you. The Qur'an incites to violence. Hate speech is protected under the first amendment unless it incites violence. Hate crimes in general are ridiculous. A crime is a crime is a crime. What you seem to be condoning is thought and speech as a hate crime. Not in America, bud.
