London - Compact discs containing speeches by Osama bin Laden and other extremist propaganda have been found at three British mosques and police said on Monday they had launched a hunt for the man seen dropping delivering them.
"It's disturbing and offensive material," a West Yorkshire police spokesperson said of the discs, describing them as containing "propaganda-type footage. But it doesn't look as if it's new material".
The spokesperson, speaking on customary condition of anonymity, said much of the footage on the discs, including older speeches by al-Qaeda leader bin Laden, appeared to have been downloaded from the internet and then copied onto VCDs, which are similar to DVDs.
The discs, entitled The Eid Message, were first discovered at mosques in Leeds and Dewsbury in November.
But on Monday, police released closed-circuit television footage of a man seen leaving them in the foyer of the Leeds mosque.
Interesting. Did someone at the mosques notify the police? I wonder....
Was it titled "Get rich or die trying"?
Yo, Tony! When ya gonna kick 'em outta da country? Huh? Waiting.... drumming fingers.... still waiting...
Imagine that in 1941, the British government discovered films of Adolf Hitler and other Nazi propaganda at church or mosque someplace. What do you think would happen to the members and leaders of that establishment? Compare that to what will happen to the members of this mosque in 2006.
"Interesting. Did someone at the mosques notify the police? I wonder...."
Yes that's correct. Here is a link to the original story from November:

I'm being followed by a big Mooslim
Big Mooslim, Big Mooslim
Leaping and...
Maybe it was just the TROP rock(as in Kaaba) "Jinn and Deen"!
"In a world where men of action lived those mosques would have been torched within hours of those discovery's."
See post 7. Someone left copies of vcds containing extremist messages at some mosques. People from the mosques passed them to police. The police are now trying to track the culprit.
