Police currently have Interstate 40 near Fesslers Lane [in downtown Nashville] shut down in both directions.

Police say officers are investigating a suspicious vehicle that they believe may have weapons and an explosive device inside. The ATF is also on the scene and police are requesting the bomb squad.

Traffic is backed up in the area so drivers should avoid the area.

Tinfoily? "It's not a matter if you're paranoid - the pertinent question is 'Are you paranoid enough?"

But if you want to stay sane AND relatively safe I find it's best to go through life confidently, walking the balance between gut feelings and accumulated information. Too far one way and you're a secluded idiot missing out on life and its opportunities; tipped too far the other way makes one an easy mark for shysters and evil people. As neither intelligence, accumulated knowledge or heart can't account for the astounding luck I've had (should have been dead at least six times by my count) I have to give credit to God or some other incomprehensible factor.

I no longer question it. I DO believe that karma is a valid concept that follows most people but somehow eludes some exceptional others. It would be nice if that when we're born a plastic-covered rulebook for life was ejected with the placenta.
