HUH? Kristol says he's surprised when RATS lockstep against Alito? What a maroon.
(Is there even 90% against him, I didn't think so..)

I think they should pass some new senate rule that would let two senators talk at the same time. Then we could get Hillary and the swimmer talking together at the same time. That would be really funny.... That would sound like a Mozart opera from Hell...

This one made Gore & Kerry look so stupid, I had to check the channel to be sure it was actually SNL. When even a lib show like that makes Kerry and Gore look like sniveling losers, you know the Dems have gone too far! (As if we needed more proof!!)

Thanks for the link...
I just sent a contribution to Steve Laffey... then forwarded my electronic receipt to Senator Chaffee's email, telling him the reason for my contribution to his opponent.
I suggest everyone do the same.

He's trying to argue there's a need for more debate. That is, given more time (i.e., intervening time to the next cloture vote), he'd vote in favor of a cloture motion. But the DEMs didn't use much time on Friday, none on Saturday, and could have had Sunday, if they wanted to debate. In short, he's full of crap, and it's showing again. What about Reed's 'agreement' with Frist that there would be no filibuster if Frist didn't call the weekend session and the final day of debate would be Monday?
Er, never mind...

:o) OK, you go register and post a request to keep it open for FReepers' amusement. I'm certain it will be their pleasure to do so. lol
This is their theme right now to their congresscritters:
"EITHER SUPPORT THE FILIBUSTER
OR ABSTAIN FROM THE CLOTURE VOTE,
BUT DON'T GET IN OUR WAY."

Whatever money that isn't going to Hillary is just going to MoveOn and all the other far left 527s. All this Dim handwringing about the DNC being broke is just a dog and pony show; having the money go to the 527s gives them lots of extra room on how to spend it or report it. They won't have to worry about money when they need it - it'll be there by the truckload.
