One of the more ridiculous episodes of political theater is about to play itself out on the Senate floor, as the John Kerry-led democrats mount an exercise in political futility which will further expose their total irrelevance..So join us today, or drop in on occasion, for the festivities...

You are pretty amazing--fast as lightening. I can't believe Ted's time is up. Now he's calling for roll call--I think actually that translates to "Let's call the local pub for refreshments!"

Ken has moved, and I second, a Senate Limerick Challenge PING!
Some traitors pose (R) but are RINOs,
And colluding with far-Leftist DINOs,
They bluster high-strung,
Maybe should be hung;
At the least should be exiled, the Winos!

This is so damn hard to follow. It's a convuluted mess. Kennedy's logic is clearly swimming upstream against a tidal wave of last nights binge of Chivas.
That was my thought. It's hard to understand why any of this have to do with the law or Alito.
In way you can see the liberal mind set working in Kennedy's diatribe. Kennedy is talking about issues that the legislature should take up but the since the left knows most of their agenda won't get passed into law, liberals expect judges to use judicial fiat to enact their agenda into law. Alito won't do that and that is why Kennedy is so wound up this morning.

He's finished. Spent. He put all his arguments into one neat package and tied it up with a pretty bow.
Then he left it at home and had to wing it.

Anyone know of a blind or wheelchair bound black woman judge who we on FR would approve of?
Failing that, do we know of any Republican leaders/speakers that meet the criteria? In this case, it could be a man as well.
Given that the majority of Kennedy's diatribe was about the poor discrimination, I would LOVE for that speech to bite him in the ASS next time around!
