Good Monday morning, fellow Freeper political junkies. One of the more ridiculous episodes of political theater is about to play itself out on the Senate floor, as the John Kerry-led democrats mount an exercise in political futility which will further expose their total irrelevance..So join us today, or drop in on occasion, for the festivities...

I wonder if WE paid for those TEN cars to be airlifted to Davos? Speaking of kings, clinton's calvacade was worthy of one, wasn't it?

Oh, Brit just showed a clip of "hick-up" Kennedy -- says nothing else important on the horizon.... what about The Patriot Act??

How I wish President Bush would give a DeMint-type speech tomorrow night on the SOTU. I mean...how long do you have to keep acting and being an "adult" and practice diplomacy. I would LOVE to see the chamber get like Britain's where they throw food, etc.. It would be the perfect venue to take the Democrats to task on all their obstructionist and un-American behavior.
I agree wholeheartedly about President Bush taking the gloves off. God bless him for restoring and maintaining the dignity of the Oval Office, but enough's enough. There's no lack of dignity in pointing out the harm that others are doing to the country. There's no harm in calling them to task. He has no problem doing it about the terrorists; it's time to feel comfortable doing it about the liberals, too. Too many Americans need it spelled out for them. What a disservice (and lazy job) most Democrat politicians are doing by having no agenda of their own other than "whatever goes against Bush"...even to the point of actively working to harm us.

Dodd could do us a favor and let us know what airline took days to get him there so we can all avoid using it.

Well, Ted Kennedy just said there is nothing important on the docket, so now we know they care more about abortions than national security.

"Senator's time is up..."
"I see that the gavel is about to come down..." Dodd says. What I wouldn't give...

They only have until Feb. 3 to renew the Patriot Act. I think they'll push that date out another month or so - at least a week or two.
