Jumping in here, but I definitely heard Arlen Specter say at the opening of one of the Alito sessions last week or so that discussions of the Patriot Act will begin on February 06, because there were no other openings in the schedule. Made me furious. Hey, terrorists, February 04-06 -- have at it.
