Good Monday morning, fellow Freeper political junkies. One of the more ridiculous episodes of political theater is about to play itself out on the Senate floor, as the John Kerry-led democrats mount an exercise in political futility which will further expose their total irrelevance..So join us today, or drop in on occasion, for the festivities...

They always try and claim it's high traffic....but all the other moonbat sites seem to be able to handle the hits. I've suspected for a long time they do it to keep us from celebrating yet another leftist defeat. Give them awhile...they'll "sanitize" the death threats, etc...and reopen the forum later.

So, are ALL the dems going to change their vote to Aye?

My kids think I'm nuts dancing around the house .. LOL I did the same thing, when Bush won in 2000 (the "December" win)! You're not nuts at all.

I doubt very much that Lieberman can be defeated in a primary. His machine in CT is very strong, and blue collar RATS in CT like his independence.

IIRC it was the republicans who put him in office.

Libs are blaming the whole vote on Lieberman. It appears that Republicans will have to come to his aid in November. Otherwise, he is a goner. I'm still ambivalent on Lieberman.
I remember that he was all over investigating Enron until his Connecticut insurance-lobby money forced him to cover up for Clinton Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin, who was high up in Citigroup, Enron's financier.

Me, too....since he KNOWS the filibuster was going to fail...it seems like he would want the "moderate" spot in the POTUS race to himself.

It appears that the Libs sites cant trust their folks to not provide lots of nice juicy quotes for the MSM. They want to spoil our fun. They cant stay closed forever! LET US IN YOU PIGS! We wont tell anybody! LOL!

Why is it DU only shuts down whenever Dems get their butts handed to them? They are being even more nasty than they are normally. Wouldn't be surprised if death threats were being hurled at this point. This would prove they are no better than freepers, so they have to hide this from the general public.
Except they already know.

There a more ominous reason for the DU shut down. The party of tolerance is always one of the first to suggest violence when they don't get their way. The admin moderator there shut it down so he could save his minions from themselves and quickly remove posts suggesting violence and or murder against specific Congressmen ( mostly Democrats ) who hurt their feelings.
