Kennedy sounds pretty sure that cloture vote will occur.

Rumor mill says Chaffee will vote against Alito. DEMs are in a pickle! If the confirmation vote is between 50 and 60, the moonbat wing will come down HARD on DEM leadership.

Time to throw Reid under the bus. I wonder if Durbin would step up to be majority leader ;-)

By pulling this stunt, all they have done is give the President a platform to speak during the state of the union which of course, will make more people angry at the democrats which of course, will drive more people to the polls to vote for Republicans.
