Good Monday morning, fellow Freeper political junkies. One of the more ridiculous episodes of political theater is about to play itself out on the Senate floor, as the John Kerry-led democrats mount an exercise in political futility which will further expose their total irrelevance..So join us today, or drop in on occasion, for the festivities...
Right. Talk about a climate of corruption...the NJ senate delegation!
Sorry miss read your miss type....You are correct....but he may already be on his way. Fox said he was not admitted to the hospital....
The Royal family changed their name to House of Windsor in the first world war. The Battenburg-Mountbatten family was a cousin family of the Windsors.
Yes, and you will never guess who did that.
"It ia physically impossible to get him to DC from Nevada in 62 minutes."
SR71
they started this last week. Funny enough, it's been Teddy and Johnny whining the loudest.
Kerry?
Not according to those at DU and KOS. They were cheering him wildly when he spoke.
I fully understand the New England wishy-washy GOP. They're the best they can elect.
I think it's deplorable, but I must say, that I put NJ and Delaware in the politically beyond hope column too.
NJ elected that Corrizne! Good by, NJ.
Seems that way. It's clear the Democrats have been stalling throughout this whole debate, meandering upon a bunch of irrelevant subject matter.
Right. The man who wasn't even here in this country to debate in the first place!
One can spin the rhetoric that way, I suppose. But the Senators and conventional lexicon has been that a failed cloture motion represents a clear mark that equals "filibuster is here."
If and when the cloture vote is held, today at 4:30, and if the AYEs number less than 60 (they won't), THEN there will be agreement by all - the filibuster will be on.
I say "if" on the cloture vote being held, only to admit the possibility that the DEMs will outright cave, and decide they don't want to have a cloture vote - and they agree to vote on the nominee tomorrow morning, as scheduled.
Such a surprise, huh?
Did he ever name the "others" in the DNC who are for a filibuster?
Per his aide, BINGAMAN TO VOTE YES FOR CLOTURE
Figures! I'll bet they're cheering for Dean for blowing the coffers of the DNC! LOL!
And I always thought his last name was Gepettoson and that he wanted to be a real boy but was incapable of shedding the strings!
Reagan was ALWAYS optimistic.
Is Harkin abstaining?
