His aide says he will be released later in the day. Perhaps a little misdirection play to protect the Senator. Hopefully Ensign shows up in Washington, DC. There should be a couple of Lear jets just sitting around at the Las Vegas airport that he could hotwire or charter.

Since, it's being reported that Ensign is OK...just cuts and bruises...he's not even hospitalized. He can easily direct the senate for a proxy vote.
