Lautenau was on Fox this AM. She will NOT support the filibuster. Her reasoning....They have important things to do in Washington....Like fund LA's recovery!

Last time I heard, Kean had been leading. But I don't keep abreast of it as often as I should, even tho it's early in the year.
I agree, I hope this seals Menendez's doom.

Lautenberg has on his website a "Right to Filibuster" video. Gee I wonder which way his vote is going (/sarcasm)

I don't believe you have to walk to the clerk. The late Sen. Thurman used to raise his head and call his out instead of getting up to walk.

You would be better off looking for a statement in which Reid DIDN'T lie.

What country does Reid live in? It can't be this one. He's repeating himself. HARRY THE AUTOMAKERS ARE STRUGGLING BECAUSE OF YEARS OF ABUSE BY THE UNIONS! What a stooge!

I don't know of an exception for a Senate floor vote being cast "in person."
Neither do I. There is no mention of it
here.

Thanks for the info. Yup, now I remember that the proxy vote was in committee. All the DUmmies are being very careful to post "Glad he will be OK, but glad that he's going to miss the vote" They take this to mean that the 'deity' is on their side... (They can't every bring themselves to refer to God - ever...)
