Almost two-thirds of Americans (63%) consider illegal immigration a “very serious” or “extremely serious” problem in the United States, according to a TIME Poll. The majority (74%) believes the U.S. is not doing enough to secure its borders. . . .
TIME’s Poll shows that half (50%) of Americans favor deporting all illegal immigrants back to their home countries (45% oppose). Three-in-four (76%) favor allowing illegal immigrants in the U.S. to earn citizenship if they learn English, have a job and pay taxes. . . . Meanwhile 700,000 undocumented immigrants from around the world continue to enter the U.S. each year, according to the Pew Hispanic Center.

Don't forget to electrify that fence. We don't want anyone cutting through the fence the first day it's installed. Plus, hell, it would scare off the illegals if one of them got turned into a crispy critter hanging off the fence.
In the earliest days of schooling here in America, children are taught to wait in line; to wait their turn. Believe it or not, we try and instill law and order into our American society.
The spoiled, the selfish, the unruly, the greedy, the disrespectful, the smug, the elite, the lawless, and those wanting to inflict harm upon us are the folks breaking and entering the United States. And as momentum grows among my fellow countrymen to get our government moving regarding the building of permanent systems of protection along our borders, you will see that those of us who are supporting the cause were the ones who understood what the teachers were saying. You see, we weren't the "Me first, me first" line jumpers. We stood in line, respected the students in front of us and the teacher's rules and we waited our turns.
Good post, but I think we have our very own troll. Just when I thought no one was really interested in the border threads except those of us who live here...we have arrived!! We are finally important enough to have our own troll. I just wish this one was a tad more literate, it is hard to decipher his writing.

Yeah, me too. I know few legal ones that aren't equally peeved as the rest of us. But that doesn't mean they all vote conservative either, nor does it mean that if given a choice of a hispanic/Mexican representative, that they wouldn't eventually vote for them, especially if they made certain promises.

And after deporting the illegals, we need to deport the legals who should never have been allowed in (including the towel-heads who despise this country). If congress doesn't want to implement the will of the people, perhaps they should be given the opportunity to leave also.
They should also have someone who signs a personal guaranty for them to come here as against welfare benefits.
