I have the anti-filibuster vote up to at least 62, by adding Snowe (in the Gang-of-14), Akaka and Dorgan.
Notice that filibuster is not the talk of the town?

By now it's clear that just about ALL the callers to CSPIN are seminar callers. They're disgruntled republicans, every last one of them!!! LOL

I don't know so I wouldn't hazard a guess, but it would not surprise me if there were many.

I find it amazing that a group of people can talk about a *plan* for years and yet no one in the MSM ever gets suspicious or even curious about it.

Gotcha, but if that's the best they can do, can't attack the substance they know they are in trouble.

I know...and I would be more disappointed..but, I wrote him off as a POTUS candidate a long time ago....and as a Majority leader as well.
I was actually relieved when he told Tim that he was going to honor his promise to only serve two terms in the Senate...until I remembered that everyone is already "giving" his seat to that weasel Harold Ford, Jr....gack!

BTW....HAGEL...just bashed Rove for characterizing the dems as being in a pre-9/11 mindset...and the Reps as being in a post 9/11 mindset... Only a Democrat would be upset at what Rove said

Nor will we ever hear about raising taxes on old money family trusts that people like the Kennedy's have hidden behind all their lives.

How many members of Congress also have a Blind Trust as Frist does ?? Not blind, but Ted Kennedy has it trust registered in a small island in Philippines (or somewhere near), that is why he is not bothered about estate tax or death tax as does George Soros, Bill Gates & others who support death tax.
US has no controls over their assets rdeposited in those funds registered there.

"The whole 'concept' appears to be by design a method of fulfilling the Clintons stated foreign policy. Equalize all nations. They are globalists and did whatever they could to bring US down rather than lift up all other nations. I think if the Mrs. C or any other like minded person were to have the power they would indeed enact Kyoto in some form, shape or fashion."
I agree w your thoughts. Just would add that it wouldn't truly equalize all nations, including the fact that China and India wouldn't be subject to Kyoto protocol and they have emerging industries and are far worse at (or soon will be) in ommitting greenhouse gasses that almost any other nation. It would also hurt the economies of western nations, but China's economy would continue to grow.

You could well be right as I said earlier I do not think he copes well with the cut and thrust of partisan politics and may well be dreading the next 2 days.

until I remembered that everyone is already "giving" his seat to that weasel Harold Ford, Jr....gack! I wouldn't be so sure on Harold Ford, Jr.
He has some family problems at the moment concerning corruption
Running for a House seat in a district is one thing
Running state wide for a Senate seat is a completely different subject
