I know...and I would be more disappointed..but, I wrote him off as a POTUS candidate a long time ago....and as a Majority leader as well.
I was actually relieved when he told Tim that he was going to honor his promise to only serve two terms in the Senate...until I remembered that everyone is already "giving" his seat to that weasel Harold Ford, Jr....gack!
I wouldn't be so sure on Harold Ford, Jr.
He has some family problems at the moment concerning corruption
Running for a House seat in a district is one thing
Running state wide for a Senate seat is a completely different subject
Ford has more baggage (mostly family connections) than a tramp steamer. He will do well in Shelby county Tennessee, but can never win a state wide election.
