Clearly.
I can image the spin on the Left. Bush Lied, but it was the truth, but he meant to lie.
So therefore it is a lie that just happened to be true.
Rathergate upsidedown.
Obviously a disgruntled Iraqi general who was probably passed over for a promotion and now he has an axe to grind.
Once information is found to smear Sada, the MSM will go wall-to-wall with it. The original story will only be mentioned to the extent necessary to discredit it.
Ew!!
If WMD's were found in a Syrian forest, would the MSM interrupt their Oscar reporting to make a sound?
Supposedly the details will be released in three weeks on Febraury 18th, ala Jon Loftus at IntellSummit.org.
"If WMD's were found in a Syrian forest, would the MSM interrupt their Oscar reporting to make a sound?"
Only if the WMD has packed in fudge.
"INTELSUMMIT.org"... sorry
FEB 17... not 18th. double "oops".
Meeting with Republicans. Demorats don't want to hear the truth.
Very insightful comment.
The administration has known what happened to the WMD's all along. Most Freepers have known too. The MSM COULD HAVE known, and some of them certainly did. (However, since ignorance runs pretty deep with the MSM, some of them are probably as clueless as they seem.)
So, if we assume that the location of the WMD's was known all along, but not publicized, the logical conclusion is that we did not WANT to comment publicly. The Bush administration paid a very heavy price for this decision, so it would be very interesting to know exactly why...
Is there any way you could pass this info along to your leftist pals - just to calm them down?
Isn't John Loftus kind of a kook?
Well, for those of who have believed the WMD went to Syria, this cannot be bad news. I heard General Sada on Hannity's radio show last week. I am glad he's talking to a couple of Senators, maybe they will call for full Senate hearings and have General Sada testify. That certainly would help din the roar of the "where are the WMD" mantra of the left.
The only way we can know is to invade Syria or hope for a revolution there. We won't do the first, especially with the Iran issue, and the second won't happen as the Syrian regieme has an iron grip on power.
We are basically where we were when satelite photos revealed massive truck traffic to Syria from Iraq prior to the war. We have every reason to believe a tranfer was made but have no way to prove it.
General Sada provided additional details about air transport of the materials and who ordered it and who received it, but nothing sufficient to send our army into Syria.
I don't know if there is a lot more we could do to Syria in the way of diplomacy or economic sanctions. What Sada is saying is believable but I don't see much action coming from his disclosures.
