Your Mental Attitude - Cornerstone
Waste of time is one of the most costly expenses on lifes ledger . . . it can never be reimbursed.
Thousands of people would never have experienced the bitterness and helplessness of want if they had not first been guilty of WASTE.
There is a constant dissipation of thought and feeling, just as there is of physical energies. Each in turn exacts its heavy toll from us.
Dissipation of thought and feeling proves wasteful and ruinous to the mind and heart the same process is equally as destructive to health and strength of the body.
As one man puts it: Dreamy revelries, desultory reading, unregulated and scattering thought, plans formed without reason, or never carried out to wise results, are as truly dissipation of the soul as the wildest revelries and indulgences are of the body.
Waste produces decay, stagnation, barrenness, unproductivity, lack, ruin, destruction, want.
Wasting time on the job or money from our savings doesnt make much difference
both have the same end result.
Squandering or wasting time can never be accurately tabulated for us, but most of us are keenly aware of how destructive it can be and how terrifically costly.
YOU can do something about it by developing the habit of thrift. By substituting thrift for waste, you will have made an extremely valuable forward step.
Cultivate this important thrift habit in all things . . . be saving of your time .. . on the job or off . . . saving of materials and equipment . . . on the job or off . . . thrifty with physical energies . . . thrifty with unregulated and scattered thinking. .
It will pay YOU big dividends in all directions to cultivate this all-important habit of being thrifty with your time, energy, thoughts and material possessions. Learn to be careful in avoiding waste or dissipation in the small things and the larger ones will automatically fall into the same pattern.
It is entirely up to YOU during each day to calculate and control WHAT PRICE you want to pay for WASTE. We never fail because we are too thrifty in safeguarding our time, thoughts or physical energies . . . but because we are not thrifty enough.

It got in the 60's here today!! It's now down to the 50's, but that's still warm! I think we are supposed to get cooler later in the week, but still warm for January/February!!
How are you? Still at work?

Oh, about 300 miles. MoJo is close, though!! When I visit my girls in Richmond, I won't be but about 90 miles away. Maybe we could meet halfway 'tween! At Williamsburg, perhaps.
