WASHINGTON -- Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton on Friday announced she'll join potential 2008 presidential rival John Kerry in voting to filibuster against Supreme Court nominee Samuel Alito, just as top Democratic leaders predicted the effort is likely doomed.
With three Democratic senators pledging support for Alito, the New Jersey conservative seems virtually assured of being confirmed by the full Senate Monday or Tuesday, party leaders predicted Friday. Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) told reporters in Washington that "everyone knows" Senate Democrats couldn't muster the 40 votes needed to support a last-ditch filibuster.

Yes, although I admit I had to read it a couple of times and mull it over a bit... ;-)
Maybe they need the money for a campaign..or they are anticipating a move to a big, white house in a few years...
So..they will only need an "address" in Arizona...LOL
This woman came on and started spewing that Bush knew they were going to blow up the WTC and let it happen and it went downhill from there, Rush could hardly get a work in edgewise and when he tried to get her to stop and actually 'discuss' the real history she was having none of it... he made a little joke to try and calm her down and she screamed that a friend died in the center and Bush killed her and it went on and on until finally Rush said he had to take a hard break and cut her off... but, Howlin, it was bad and he knew it was bad, you could tell, he sounded sort of depressed and exasperated at the same time.
Boy...I hope you are watching Fox right now...
HEERRRRRRRRRREss. Juany!!!
And this is a perfect example of Dems playing politics instead of basing their opinions on what is best for this nation. They do NOT have our nation's best interests at heart. This is another "no duh!" statement brought to you by Chena. LOL
Off topic, but that election is going to have a very drastic outcome and I think the Palestinan's will find out the hard way they made a huge mistake -- BTW did you hear Juan actually say he thought Hamas would moderate in power??? The man is a whack job!
yup ,oh baby , the Sunday morning talkies have sooo much material ,...
... it is really too much to give any one thing ample time,
... perhaps Sir Edmund Hillary Clinton is gonna "jump the shark" every week
This should make the Dems happy. Aren't they for assisted suicide? ;)
That's what he said (probably with great glee and $$$ signs in his eyes) and I suspect more and more he's up to his elbows in manipulating the oil market somehow... if there is anyone Justice should investigate, it's him.
I saw this earlier this evening and have been telling Howlin all evening to watch this...because Juan Williams is a perfect example of the people she is talking about...
that make her worry for our country...
It is so funny....we are all having a fun Friday because of this ...
But, the DUmmies are all excited for the same reason...go figure.
Was Kenny the black guy that called in? I didn't catch all of him, but he was funny; at least Rush had a good time with him vs Jill.
OH...yeah...he would LOVE to take down the America financially...accomplishing something that Bin Ladin was trying to do ...but failed.
I dare say, Soros is Bin Ladin's handmaiden in America politics...
I almost forgot about her Scott Ritter comments... she believes everything Ritter says and he says Bush is a criminal so that was good enough for her!
The smartest woman on Earth is doing this? I'm positively terrified.
Did you get a chance to see the two segments of the roundtable...and Juan's remarks in both??
Your fear is my fear. Well said, Howlin.
