Back in 2000 alfa once dressed in a devil costume to greet Al Gore here in KC. Because of the traffic delays caused by the Gore motorcade he was able to FReep Gore 2 and maybe 3 times on that one visit. He was great.
Would like to request a song for something I wish for all FReepers. 'Old Friends' by Roger Miller, Ray Price and Willie Nelson.
Old Friends:
Old friends, pitching pennies in the park
Playing croquet 'til it's dark, old friends
Mmm old friends, swapping lies of lives and loves
Pitching popcorn to the doves, old friends
Old friends, looking up to watch a bird
Holding arms to climb a kerb, old friends
Old friends, lord when all my work is done
Bless my life and grant me one, old friend
At least one, old friend
Old friends, looking up to watch a bird
Holding arms to climb a kerb, old friends
Old friends, lord when all my work is done
Bless my life and grant me one, old friend
At least one, old friend
