The Senate meets at noon today, again in Executive Session, for the 3rd day of debate on the nomination of Samuel Alito to SCOTUS. Not sure, what, if anything, will happen today..Will there be a filabuster?..will anyone show up..might be work while checking out the beginning of the session, to get the lay of the land....
She appeared to decline support for a filibuster, at that time, no doubt about it. We have direct quotes from her that sound firmly for an up or down vote. Someone got to her. She can always claim the "people" demanded it. HaHaHa!
ahem.....
I think you want to be calling Salazar. He is in Florida, correct? What is his number? I am officially a Florida resident.
I think Salazar IS in the Gang of 14!!
Oh, please, Salazar go along with the filibuster!!!
Salazar is COLORADO...
Martinez is Florida
lol!
"Kerry further sinks his political career. did you know he served in Viet Nam?"
Boston radio show host and newspaper columnist Howie Carr has, as they say, a visceral dislike for Sen. Kerry, who he often refers to as "live shot" for his desire to be caught by the TV camera. Carr has any number of tales of Kerry breaking in line somewhere & saying "do you know who I am?"

That's it! Mods, shouldn't we get 'workman's comp.'??? LOL
I know she does. And it is a known fact that people on chemo get a thing called chemo brain. Dont scold me son.
Too bad there isn't a strong Republican to run against DiFi.
Democrats and Republicans alike said the 55-year-old conservative jurist will get more than the 60 votes need to cut off debate on the Senate floor Monday."Everyone knows there are not enough votes to support a filibuster," Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid of Nevada said Friday. Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn., said the same thing on Thursday. "A bipartisan majority will vote to confirm Judge Alito as Justice Alito," Frist said.
Didn't he do that at Wendy's after the Democratic Convention? (when they were starting their bus tour and stopped in for the phony anniversary lunch for the Edwards (while they had Ben Aflick and a catered lunch waiting on the bus -- and Kerry went up to the soldier eating in peace to ask if they knew who he was)...
Yep ... along with millions of others :0)
it's a general mass email from VOLPAC
That's right and he narrowly won against Pete Coors.
We have Bill Nelson, who is voting NO on Alito. Not that he cares, but I am calling to complain, just for the heck of it.
Martinez is voting YES.
That's one big affirmative from the state of AZ!
Harry Reid - "We killed the Patriot Act" - he ain't never going to live that one down is he!!!
Though I am surprised that Bag Lady Boxer hasn't shown her face yet
