The Senate meets at noon today, again in Executive Session, for the 3rd day of debate on the nomination of Samuel Alito to SCOTUS. Not sure, what, if anything, will happen today..Will there be a filabuster?..will anyone show up..might be work while checking out the beginning of the session, to get the lay of the land....
Or even better, at the SOTU Tuesday night, Bush reaches into his pocket and pulls out a letter from Stevens, announcing his intent to retire...that would be a hoot!
I was just going to say that... "It's a fight worth making..."
come on, Johnny, say it.. the F word.. We all know you want to.. come on.. say it.. just one time.
Damn, he's still going...............
Yep, we made Bush/Bush 08 bumper stickers to scare the hell out of the libs... they'll believe it, trust me.
wish I'd kept up with how long he's been speaking.
I think he's about to say the "F" word
He's positioning himself to be the only democrat Senator willing to take the risk. He still sees himself as some kind of hero.
ROFLMAO...and out loud!! Thanks...I needed that laugh.
Honey, his lies aren't white......they are WHOPPERS!
Bring out the hook!
He looks like a Creamsicle.
Orange Tan. White lips.
They'd better. President Bush won ND with more than 70% of the total vote. And Conrad is up for re-election. Dorgan just won in 2004, so he is more likely to "vote his conscience" (read: follow party line), but Conrad almost has to vote "yes".
He was in Vietnam, you know.
I thought we already covered the kid with the stolen purse, John.
Are we rambling, John?????
Now we are body-searching again, John????
You are repeating yourself, John.
Just turned on C-Span. Is Kerry filabustering now?
A Question.
Excuse me... in all the Klan killings down south, did you see black jurors?
Now we listen to the 'unbiased' Berkeley professor?
What a maroon.
"For those reasons and others I will discuss on Monday, I oppose Alito's nomination."
He still sees himself as some kind of hero.
He was in Vietnam, you know.
where he shot a kid in the back, fleeing the scene.
He didn't say it. :-/
