There may be a more disgusting, nauseating spectacle than Teddy Kennedy sitting in judgment on a Supreme Court nominees ethics and integrity, but Im not sure what this might be. But, there he was on national TV, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, asking his questions and making his points with all the skills of Ace Ventura, Pet Detective. Kennedy among other things:
Was suspended from Harvard because of cheating when he was caught getting another student to take a Spanish test for him.
Had his father get his Army duty changed to two years from the four years he signed up for. He ended up a guard at NATO headquarters in Paris rather than in Korea where a war was going on.

I love the title alone.
Now I'll read the rest of the story!

You forget the difference between "private morals" and "public morals" as described by the left. If you vote for every welfare program, every man-hating resolution, every gay-friendly law, every quota and against national defense you have great "public morals". Don't forget property confiscation in the name of "imminent domain" or environmental protection.

There is a rather significant body of evidence that indicates a possibility that it was no accident.

Killed a young woman, Mary Jo Kopechne, by driving her off a bridge on Chappaquiddick Island in 1969. Following this accident, which was, arguably, negligent homicide, Kennedy made 17 credit card phone calls. But it was not until the 18th phone call, nine hours after his car ran off this bridge, that Kennedy reported this accident. The frogman who retrieved the dead girls body said that he believed she might have been saved if help had been summoned immediately. Kennedy received a two-month suspended sentence, serving no time in jail.
There was still air in the car.
Repeat: There was still air in the car.

As a member of the Judiciary Committee hes allowed to pass judgment on lesser mortals like Robert Bork and Clarence Thomas. Teddy's done a lot more than just pass judgment on Supreme Court nominees, he's been able to ram through legislation that's been so destructive to this country it may never recover.

Very true. He get's away with it because he is under the protection of Greepeace..

If anyone has the camera and editing equipment, I will write the documentary: TED KENNEDY, CHAPPAQUIDDICK LIFEGUARD. Anyone interested? They would love it in October at the conservative film festival in West Hollywood.

Oh, I wouldn't say that Teddy is the
LAST man on earth to judge someone on their ethics... Let's see... I'd have to give Teddy the edge over Charles Manson... Yup, no matter how warped ol Teddy's ethics are, I think that he's still got better ethics than Charlie, after all, Teddy only killed one girl, though the questions out as to if she was pregnant...
So, I have to take issue that Teddy's the Last man on earth who should be judging someone base on their "ethics."

And as long as Senator Byrd is a member of the Senate the entire party has no right to challenge anyone about any organization or club they ever belonged to. It is outrageous.
