Excerpt -

Officials in the ruling Fatah Party said Thursday that Hamas captured a majority of seats in Palestinian legislative elections, shortly after the militant group claimed victory.

The Fatah officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, said they expected Hamas to win about 70 seats, which would give the Islamists a majority in the 132-seat parliament.

They spoke on condition of anonymity because counting in some districts was continuing.

International Observer and American Traitor Jimmy Carter is very pleased. First he "observed" Hugo Chavez's fraudulent re-election, now he "observes" Hamas ascent into power. Good job, Jimmy

I actually think that the Palestinians being officially represented by terrorists makes it easier to hold them accountable for the terrorists actions.

I'm not sure they will enjoy reaping what they have sown.

Well so far they have sown mass poverty, low life expectency, high illiteracy, minimal industry and overcrowding. They have little to lose in the gaza ghetto.

Death probably sounds more pleasant to them.

Bush/Rice's plans for Middle East peace are a FAILURE.

The Palestinian savages are not ready for peace or democracy.

It's time to stop pretending otherwise.

By pushing Israel to give up more.

APPEASEMENT of terror is U.S. govt. policy, from the bottom all the way up to Bush.

The Palestinians have chosen... and they have chosen badly. Hold on to your hats, it's going to be a rough ride.

If Hamas won, then the Palestinians lost. Hamas will lead them to hell.

Why all the hoopla? Can't we hold off judgement until Jimmy Carter, that great arbiter of all things warm and fuzzy, certifies the election results?

The loser from Plains will put the Bush administration in a real pickle when he declares that Hamas won "fair and square". Of course, that is why he stuck his nose into another place it doesn't belong; longterm irreparable damage to U.S. interests has always been his working template.

Yeah, we appeased the hell out of the Taliban and al-Qaeda.

Now we can appease the Palestinians in the name of the WOT.
