Well then we better watch this case very closely, and keep contacting the media, and most importantly, PRAY.

According to the Boston Herald, a report by her court-appointed guardian showed that the Department of Social Services had received 17 reports of abuse or neglect involving Haleigh in the three years before her adoptive mother and stepfather were charged with pummeling her into a coma.

I guess the DSS is too busy trying to catch all those dastardly families who, wanting to homeschool their kids, have taken them out of school while waiting for their School Committee's 'approval'. Those kids are truants, you know, and that must be more important than kids who are severely physically abused by their Mama's latest honey.

I don't think that's their reason. The agency that wants her dead is the agency that has to pay for her care, isn't it? I don't think they want to murder her so they can get a murder conviction. I think they want to murder her over money. Either way, that is sick.

Thankfully, President Bush refilled the circuit courts with 25% of his picks. Hope he didn't make too many mistakes.

With Alito, we have four strict Constitutionalist in the Supreme Courts. Let's hope and pray that at least one more Supreme Court justice retires while President Bush is in office, so we have the majority.
